The name is a bit misleading to me, R9 290 X2 makes it sound like 2 x R9 290s when in fact it's 2 x R9 290Xs.

Maybe "PowerColor Devil 13 AMD Radeon R9 290X X2" sounded silly, but I think there was already a danger of that that anyway (with the "Devil 13" part).
 
Gibbo sometimes i amazed how many people got cash to just blow away. Not talking about 295 as its still nice card

Well good to see business is still blooming :)

I would rather go 2x290x with nice xspc water block + separate water loop for em :) But dont like Xfire to to many problems with 3d Gaming over a single card solution :p

The single version is £599.99 inc VAT and that's with 8MB, so that's £1188 for two....so it's about the same

But you can get two 4MB versions for about £740, so to me it's a no brainer because right now we dont need 8MB

The 4MB MSI Ligtning crossfire is getting too close to this card in price and just like last time with the 7970, it's a wee bit too expensive for only a few frames more..
