Beyerdynamic DT 880 250ohm compatable DAC

Hi , can the Asus Xonar U7 7.1 run these headphones , noticed they mention a max impedance of 150ohm.
Was using the FiiO E10K which also says max of 150ohm but they where perfect with that.

Although the DT880s aren't the most difficult headphones to drive, I would think you'd be up towards maximum on the U7 as it's headphone amp is pretty weak and definitely not as powerful as the E10K.

Thanks , ended up getting the Fiio E17K , have to run it at full to get the same volume i had it set on 3/4 on the E10 , but it sounds just as good..
Will probably end up getting the K5 dock to go with it.

Should be a good combination. E17K for DAC duties, K5 for the superior amp power. :cool:
