BF:BC 2 connections issues, help?

Hey guys,

Recently re-installed BF:BC 2 and i'm having some major issues, i can connect to the EA server, it pulls up my soldiers info, gear unlocks etc but i can't find any servers. When i hit play now i get 'cannot connect to EA online, please try again' when i go to the server browser and search i get the same.

It's not a firewall issue (have disabled all firewalls but even with them on windows is showing traffic from the .exe), i can ping the servers as well. I'm out of ideas... anyone experienced this problem before? if so any tips on solving it?

Maybe you dont have the lastest patch applied?

Manually download it and apply it, if it isnt automatically downloading.

It did do a bit of patching when i installed but i'll give it a go

Hope it works i really wanna get back to blowing up buildings, people, tanks, APC's, small dogs, sheep, whatever gets in my way!

Sounds to me like it needs a patch, run the game from the launcher and it should do the trick

If you have a router firewall stick it to low or off too, that's what I had to do back at launch.

@ thecremeegg, hey mate, the launcher doesn't find anymore updates, will try applying it manually when i get home though.

@ Sleepery, hey, checked this router FW is off completely as is windows FW and comodo (the only other security software on there).

Thanks for the tips so far, going to try a manual patch when i get in see if that does anything i think.

My game just refuses to connect to the ea servers when I try to load the server browser as well. I think someone said before that there is a file u can delete that fixes this problem but I can't find the thread which said it.

Can someone repost it please? Unless I'm imagining things then forget this...

Mine has disconnected randomly since launch, fully patched. Although has got a little better. Still annoying..

Seems i'm not the only one getting this problem then,i actually got a connection on friday, i was amazed, sadly i didn't have any time over the weekend to see if it worked, has anyone else who's had problems had any luck?
