My laptop has an i7 and a GT230m. The GT230m is basically a turbocharged 8600MGT with 16 more shaders. It runs best with everything on medium or low....so with an 8600MGT I expect low or lower would be best! I doubt it would run every well at native res.

My lappy has 2.13 ghz, 4gb ram and Nvidia 130M (which is apparently equivalent to a desktop Geforce 9550 GT) and the game runs at below 30fps even on lowest settings.

I tried the PC beta on my 8600M GT. You have to turn every setting to off/low and even then it didn't manage a steady 30fps. Not that I measured it, I just knew it was instantly smoother when I tried the same demo on my PS3 which must be 30fps.

It's a shame there is no demo so you can't try before you buy.

It'll run like sludge. It only just runs at a playable FPS on my lappy, which has a 9600mGT.

From my testing on BFBC2 on various laptops, it is more cpu bound than GPU bound.
It really struggles on dual cores. I am hoping this gets optimised but not holding my breath.

As an example I played it on a clevo with 2.4ghz C2D and GTX260. I was getting 15-40 fps and changing gfx settings made no impact suggesting it was cpu bound. I then popped a Q9000 2ghz quad in and got 25-60fps.
Logging my GPU in the background with GPUZ I can see my 260GTX is only used about 40% on low settings

I also played the game on my Viao CW with 2.66ghx C2D and Gt230 and got almost exact fps as the Clevo before the quad.
