BF Hardline - Multiplayer Question

My son is playing on PS4 with my PlayStation account. I'm playing on PC with my origin account. Same email address for both accounts.

It appears only one of us can play multiplayer at any time. Is there a way round this? I bought the game twice, so why not play both at once?

because the PC and the PS4 are linked up to the same origin account. You would need to make another account for your son or you to be able to play at the same time.

Makes sense. I assume it'll be easier to change the PS4 account. I've just added PlayStation plus for three months so would it be as simple as just changing the account email address for PlayStation?
