Hey guys,

I wasnt quite sure where to post this, so please feel free to move it if required...

When I play BF1 multiplayer, I'm currently finding my framerate dips down to the low 60's and 70's during very busy scenes of 64 player conquest or operations.

Because Im hyper-sensitive to motion blur (I get terrible headaches and eyestrain problems) I really cant afford to let my frame-rate drop below 80 at anytime.

The funny thing is, Im pretty sure before the autumn patch I was able to maintain the 90-100fps mark pretty much all the time - now I dont know if I was imagining it or not

I have tried lowering the game settings to high and even medium, and it doesn't seem to improve performance during busy scenes at all. I also noticed in games with low player counts, average framerate is much higher.

You can see my rig in my signature, so what do you think, is it my hardware letting me down? perhaps I need a beefier Mobo/CPU/Ram platform to maintain the frame-rates I need? or maybe my 1080 isnt really up to the job of keeping my fps where I need it?

Either way I need to take action so any help much appreciated :)

Nothing looks like it should be a bottleneck on your system. Maybe check that the autumn patch didn't re-enable DX12 as that has worse performance than DX11 for lots of people.

I just checked but its off, also resolution scale is at 100 which is where it should be.

Also I forgot to mention I started off with 2 x 4GB 1866mhz Kingston Hyper X, and recently I did add in some Klevv brand 2 x 4GB 1866 ram sticks to make it up to 16GB. Would this have impacted my performance at all?
