BF2 1920x1200 help

Right apparently i need to add this to the shortcut +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200 but it doesnt work.
I've got a program to adjust the FOV and it works brilliantly, I just cant get the game to boot up at 1920x1200 - it just loads up at whatever its set to in game.
How can I override this? Is there another file I need to edit?

Try

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

instead

Hmm how can i tell if its applied in the game? I mean the resolution looks pretty good, so i assume its worked, but is there anyway to check at all?

prt screen.
Exit/ tab out of game.
Paste in paint.
See what resolution image...

It will look stretched when it's working. Check your minimap to see if it's still completely round.

It will be stretched when it's not working, fine post command edit.
