Not sure about this one.
Recently bought a Dell 2407, which is totally great

Granted, my current rig is totally underpowered to run it native in games but manages fine in Windows. (PIV 2.8, 1GB RAM, 9800pro).
Now, said system has been running BF2 and 2142 fine at 1024x768 up until now. Running with the 2407 though, both don't even load. Get the inital resolution change on the first part of the load but then both drop back to desktop.
Got it connected via DVI. Have even tried dropping the desktop back down to >1280x1024 just in case it was a case of running out of video memory but still the same.
Flight Simulator 9 and FSX load and run fine, as do other games.
The only other thing I can think of is that I recently installed Dreamfall which uses some sort of copy protection system - possibly that the reason?
