BF2 and BF2142 both freezing on computer

hi my battlefield games freeze for a bit from time then come back when playing online. never did it before on my old system which was nf3 6600GT and 1GB ram now the new system same just NF4

Battlefield 2 is the worst lags and freezes most times

anyone know y does this

The BF2 games really require 2GB of RAM to run smoothly. Also you could check your RAM for errors with Memtest.

2GB sorted my gameplay right out.

2gig is nice, but they will happily run on 1gig, maybe defrag drive or re-install latest patch and update drivers, also ingame turn the sound quality down see if that helps
