BF2 and Dlink DSL-624 Router problem

just bought this router to get the advantages of mimo over my netgear 834gt, im having a problem once I sign in and update the server list, it kills the link with the router, and dsl, the only way I can get the router working is to pull the power, the only way i can play bf2 is stop the update after 1000 servers, it dies between after 1400, and hope there are a few good servers to join.

I have upgraded to the latest firmware, if you can call it that (december 05)

any ideas
