BF2 And Widescreen

My new Dell 2407 will play BF2 with the VGA cable but not DVI-D

any reason for this?.

I should ad that ive put the

"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

It tries to start but crashes back to desk top :confused:

Go into my Documents... And you will see the battlefield 2 folder. Delete it

Then run the game

Yeah, BF2 is awful, they never did add in proper support for widescreen res's.

Anyway, you delete ** BF2 folder in my documents so it rewrites all the config files and stuff for your new res.

All you really needed to do was go into said config file, video.con, and change the refresh rate setting, next to the res lol.
