Evening all,

I was going to sell on my copy of Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty 4 for the PC, but I'm not sure if this is possible due to their online accounts? Could any kind soul on these forums set me straight please as to whether I need to take any steps to ensure whoever buys the games can actually play online?

Thanks!

You can't sell CoD4. It's tied to your Steam account. No other Steam account can use the serial, and you can't sell a Steam account.

*edit*

I'm thinking of MW2, not MW1 :)

Of course both games can be sold on, however Call of Duty will not let the new player go online due to the serial already being registered - they would need your log in details to the account.
Battlefied 2 just requires a working CD key on the install, you can then create as many accounts as you have email address to play the game online :)

Don't you mean the other way around?

COD4 doesn't require an online account or login info.

You can sell them but if you be cheeky and play a game anyway (or other way round) it will say that the games CD key is already in use -- but should be alright if you do not use it.

How much you thinking of selling it for anyway?
