BF2 crash to desktop?

Hey guys,

I just installed BF2 and the BF2 1.41 patch, basically it is the first time i run it on my new pc, with a sapphire x1950pro.

However, whenever I load the game, whether its single or multi-player mode, when it loaded to 62% geometries, it crashed back to the desktop...

Anyone know how to fix that please?

My CS:S is working fine on 1680x1050 and max setting etc.

you might have just installed at an unlucky time and its not your pc but something to do with the game

it isn't that lol...

Anyway, i sorted the problem out by uninstalling and reintalling the damn thing... now it is working
