BF2 crashes

Have many people been getting crashes after these 2 punkbuster updates?, i start to stutter then the screen freezes...sometimes i can alt tab and stop bf2 other times it's just a black screen..it's been like this for the last couple of weeks and it is really doing my head in.

Not yet, but I'm pretty drunk at punkbuster services running permenantly now, although setting them to manual start seems to have worked.
