Hi guys,

I recently moved my main partition over onto a new SATAII disk. For some reason now though, BF2 crashes to desktop every time i try to connect to a networked game. If i do a single player it works fine.

Anyone got any ideas on what i can do without having to go through the process of reinstalling?

Cheers

disable VOIP

EDIT: dont just turn the sound down for VOIP, actually turn it off.

you can also try deleting the preferences folder in

C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

this will reset all your controls and graphics though.

good luck :)

The reinstall worked fine. I am now up and running again.

They must do some jigery pokery with the cd key and the hd serial or volume number.
