BF2 fresh install + patch

Hi guys, just done a fresh install of battlefield 2 and wanted to know if i can just go ahead and download the latest patch ( 1.41 i think it is ) or do i need to download the older ones first?

Im hoping the new one is enough as its over 500mb and dont want to be downloading patches for the next 5 days

Thanks so just downloading the 1.41 patch will update everything from a frest install?

Just making sure as i seem to remember that you had to have the most previous patch before getting the newest one

I just re-installed BF2 using the 1.41 patch and it works fine.

Yes, but make sure you get the exact one that will bring you up to 1.41 from retail, if my memory is correct it can be found in

ive started downloading the one from EA 536Mb im sure it said that it was the retail one

Thats the one i got, it will be the right one.
