bf2 graphic settings

hey guys, i have a 1440x900 monitor and i know how to set bf2 in the shortcut to run at this resolution, however how do you turn up the texture settings etc as well as having it 1440 x900 as ive tried to turn it up in the game and it sets it but at a different resolution. so i thought maybe just close it and open up from the shortcut to have both. It went to 1440 but the graphics settings were clearly not on max. Is there a way to do it in a game registry file or something, i dunno.

Are you sure? You should be able to turn it up, save and enjoy.
