BF2 & Insane memory!

I just got one in the middle of a game. Booted me out to desktop.

Full error:

Memory.dll:sanity check:block size 2125836 (20.27 MB) doesnt seem sane

anyone know what this means and how i can fix it?

I appear to have insane memory!

It happened to me once too...never happened again since! I just chalked it up to one more random bug/crash in the game. Not had any other problems with BF2 since or anything else on my computer. I'd suggest that unless it happens again that you don't need to worry about it. If it repeats then maybe run a program to check your ram or something, but you're probably fine.

I seem to remember this error being caused by serial ata drivers not being the right ones for the board. I've also heard that running one stick of ram whilst installing the latest patch helps (ie not dual ram). So, as neither would do any harm, try both

Of course if the problem doesn't happen again it might just have been your page file size

or with it being bf2,

the following may apply :-

A: Your holding your mouse the wrong way, bit more to the right should do it.

B: You looked at your computer the wrong way, pc's get a bit paranoid while running bf2, its as if they think you think they shouldnt be doing it.
