BF2 - MC ( 360 )

For some reason my PC decided it didn't want to play this game anymore and used to constantly drop connection... this was after it working fine for many months :confused:

I really like the game so yeah i'll be buying it. Should be on a more even playing field too as I won't be struggling with a 9800se :D
 
Depends on keyboard and mouse support. If not, ill probably pick it up and try it anyway. I know a lot of people swear that Joypads are as good, but i have 15 years of PC gaming with a mouse behind me and i dont have that sort of time to perfect the joypad :p

I could run BF2 at full details 1920x1200 up until special forces, which promptly cut the FPS in half for sod all extra detail. There has still been no indication that this will improve so my only option would be console.

I just wish they would let PC players and console gamers all onto the same servers.

I had the same problem. It turned out that some pillock next door had set up a wireless network and it was interfering with mine. I swapped the channels and hey presto! I was back to sniping helicopter pilots. :p
 
It's just an updated version of the xbox version and has nothing to do with the PC version, therefore it's going to be total rubbish..

Even the Official Xbox magazine said it was disappointing.
 
I'm quite tempted, depends how much I enjoy Ghost Recon:AW.
A bit of a strange question if its not you, but is that [RA]kev?
 
Probably, I stopped playing BF2 out of principle online when they reduced the achievement rankings. I'd spent days of time getting points to buy weapon upgrades only for Joe Average to have all of them (and more) when the patch came out. Really wound me up. Not played it since.
 
Think I will be getting. The helicopter/plane controls should be a joy with a controller (never had a joystick for the PC), so that should highten the playability for me.

Friends only servers would be good too, I enjoyed BF2 on the PC but the idiots that were ALWAYS there totally and utterly ruined the game.

:eek: What!! If it hasn't then that's a bit stupid. One of the things I did enjoy was the airbourne assaults.
 
I always found bf2 on the pc was more enjoyable as it was ground battles, rather than desertcombat for bf1942 which was more air. So for me thats a bonus if planes out of it.
 
The planes don't bother me too much, it's the barrage that winds me up!

You just have to be on the look out for planes, if you see one coming in for a bombing run, you run and hide! If you remove them, you kill off that sense of large scale war, which is what makes BF2 so special. If you just have infantry, then you may as well just play Call Of Duty.
