BF2 mem error

Any ideas?

I've started to get this after completing a map. Mem isn't overclocked, not installed anything new.

Having same problem myself

Im just experimenting with EAX off at the moment and so far it may have temp cured it. will update you later

Didn't see that thread.

Don't think I'm even running with EAX on since I don't think it works with the creative drivers I have. I'll have a look.

Edit: in fact it was enabled

Didnt make any difference.

soon as a new map loaded then it crashed

Tried everything i can think of so im stumped now

Yeah same, finished first map then ctd. However no error this time.

Im actually running the Intel BX2 motherboard, and the same happened with the evga i have. So its not chipset related

Its happened with the last few releases of Nvidia drivers,

I dont think its a Creative issue as i tried on board sound aswell to test but im not ruling it out.

Tried Re-installing Vista
Changing options in 2142 to med , changing sound options, non worked.
UAC is off and running everything as administrator.

Think its wait for a patch or driver to fix, although it would help to work out which bit off software is at fault
