BF2: Menu UI being very unresponsive

Hi guys,

For some reason my BF2 ui, like the login screen and browser are very unresponsive.

For isntance, I click login, or double click my account to login but it won't actually happen for about 20 seconds after I click.

Then in the browser, if I click options or something, it will take ages for the actual computer to recognise that I have done so.

Any ideas?

Have No more than 6 filters enabled in your list.
Select the lower Internet setting option the 256k one, not the 1T one.
What firewall you using ?

It's not the browser for the servers, its the UI in general.

mines done it since install on multiple machines, thought it was just general. Takes about about 10-20secs to change between servers when you click on the list.

Isn't the poor unresponsive badly designed UI part of BF2 anyway?.
If not they could have fooled me

It's always been crap. You just have to put up with it and wait unfortunately.

thats how BF2 usually always is, sometimes I click a server and get instant response, other times im waiting afew mins =/

same with the whole ui basically
