BF2 "Oh ****" Moments

Last night, on Kubra Dam. The multi floor building at one ond of the dam with the MEC airfield below and to the north west?

I spawned on the second floor near the back wall, to see a single jack shaped bomb flying nearly horizontally towards me having been dropped by a seriously good pilot. I didn't even have time to react... :(

Had something similar happen on Dalian Plant. A Chinese tank entered the big hangar builing on the right of the map, with the boxes inside, to take the flag, we had a bunch of guys in there but nothing to take out the tank. I shot the guy on the gun, ran out and jumped up on his turret, followed by about 3 other people lol. We hopped about on top of him, shooting the tank pointlessly.. Until he caught on ;p reversed, making us fall off then blew the crap out of us.

I never have any problems with those, i've conditioned myself to hit 9 twice and it never fails... unless the drop isnt big enough to give it time to deploy but big enough to kill you as you bounce off the ground. :(
 
My only problem is i have a wheel on the top shelf of my desk, and my keyboard on a sliding tray under that. My wheel covers like a third of my keyboard, so sometimes i cant see 9 and start mashing 0 like a madman, only realising my error after i've hit the ground like a sack of crap.
 
When i join one of the many EA servers where all the high ranked players join the same side and base rape the team the server ironicly slaps you on (with all the lower ranking players, minus maybe myself and 1 or 2 others).

"It use to be only the lamers that spammed, now i see some of the highest ranking players doing it, the same guys who say its all about the teamwork and gameplay. What gameplay when you spend 2 seconds alive everytime you spawn......"

Another 'oh ****' moment would be when you run round a corner and there's another guy right infront of you (enemy), and you go to shoot, only to find you've forgotten to reload the damn clip beforehand.... :mad:

Saying that though, funniest thing i've done was take a guy damn with 1 bullet left in the clip, i totally didnt expect to be alive, he must have been shot before he got to me... :D
 
I think i just saw the best thing ever.

A guy landed a jet on the ground on Wake, on the actual dirt road, hopped out, ran away, and then one of our guys jumped in the jet, and tried to take off (up the dirt road) only to be taken out by an arty strike before he got off the ground. :D
 
Funniest moment for me would be when I came head to head with an MEC assault guy, it was just us and we'd obviously both forgotten to reload as we danced about going "click click clicketty". We did this for around 10-15 seconds, like a little game. We then both flicked out our knives and continued for fighting for what seemed like an age. I was laughing so hard I didn't notice another MEC trooper coming up the road. Needless to say his buddy shot me dead :( He then did that crouching over me thing with his nads in my face.
 
I used to have the voices set to English only so that when I was on MEC or something I would still have an English voice. I was on a Karkand server on the roof next to the Hotel (On MEC). And I heard "Get ammo here" from below. So me thinking they were enemys from the USMC, I lobbed all of my nades down and killed all of them. :o

I'll remember to ckeck my mini-map in future. :mad:
 
I like it when you're one on one, going through all your weapons emptying them and reduced to knives. Seems other guys just leave you alone to it.

Last night was anti-tank, as was the other guy, and we'd dodged each others rockets and bullets, and down to knives. Running around like lunatics, being ignored by friend and foe, 5 mins later he was dead.

Quite like shock paddling duels too!
 
a reverse 'OH **** moment' i like to do is go spec ops, drive to enemy base and slap a few c4's on a plane backside then wait, let the enemy fly off and even kill a few, then detonate !!! BOOOOOOOM !!! , they are like WTF hax !!! haha.

Uh... i guess so, i know it still says "You have killed blah blah" but i never actually checked my points after doing it. :(
 
Well as i said, i dont check my points after, i do it cause i think its funny.

Same as aiming your chopper at an enemy flag with heaps of em gathered around it and jumping out just to watch them get blown all over the place when the chopper lands at their feet.

You dont get any points, but its great to watch. :D
 
Well I got my explosives badge driving around crashing my c4 laiden jeep into things, ah that was a fun badge to get.
