BF2 patch 1.5 ..tba tomorrow

Leave the F-35's as they are, a bit of unbalance makes it interesting.

Well maybe a slight tweak, i know how annoying it is trying to get off that carrier!

I just hope they can get official widescreen support going, and ofc all the regular bugs BF2 has, without causing too many more!

Money says itll be a 700meg patch with no incremental!

its not the F35's that are the problem, its the fact the J 10's are so hard to hit with missiles even with a strong lock. Improve the AA missiles all round, and watch the flyboys cry ;)
 
We have excellent aa lock in pr mod, some guys redesigned the code using notepad, a little thought and lots of testing. Proximity destruction, minimum arming distance, flare disruption & no friendly tk from bad locks. Its doable, they just have to tune it..

The jets are too powerful and the AA too weak, which can make for a very unbalanced game.

Other than that there arent too many things i'd like to see changed tbh, not too many bugs anymore. New maps would be great though
 
hmm, mixed feelings about this if true. While there are things that could do with being fixed, and some extra content would be welcome, I think I've got so used to BF2 the way it is that I'm not sure I'd want to much changed about it. Plus with the track record of some of the previous patches I'm worried that this may break more than it fixes and that they won't want to spend the time fixing any new issues.

oh, and my three year BF2 anniversary was a week or two back. :p
but iirc my sign up date was when the demo was released, not the game.

tell us the day before there's going to be an announcement regarding a patch release, and then the next day go 'yes that's right they'll be a patch'..
 
a new patch, good news seeing as ive just re-installed... let them take their time adding content so its worthwhile, not like the game is screaming out for any major fixes...

now if they would only add Operation Market Garden and Berlin maps ... mmm plz
