bf2 problem.help?

Hey, i have a problem with bf2 where sometimes it wont load, get the splash screen then nout. Also it never seems to load a 2nd time i.e. playing a game, quit then try to open bf2 again.

When it wont load i need to restart comp 1 or 2 times before it will work.

Any ideas?

check in task manager to see if its actually stopped bf2.exe because im not sure if this is true for everyone but if i have bf2 open and tab out then try and open another bf2 it wont load. Im not saying your tabbing out btw just saying if bf2 is already running then it wont open a 2nd one.. untill u reboot which has now prolly stopped bf2.exe (obviously)

Check you internet connection?

Mine wouldn't load when my internet connection went down. Just hung, had to unplug the network cable.

the exe and the 0005.somthing both vanish from task manager when i close it. They also are in the task manager when it only puts up the splash screen with out loading the game.

Connection is solid, but thanks for the idea.

spec is in my sig if there are any knowen problems?

Live with it, this is BF2. You are lucky it works at all, some people don't even get that far.
You could try complete uninstall, and reinstall/patch.

Have u made it so it only used one core? I dont know if thats the problem but iv heard thats helped a lot of people in the past..
