BF2 problem

Hi Guys

I bought battlefeild2 from read the forum rules (FAQ)

I have been using it for about 3 weeks and i just went to lounch it from xFire
and BF2 all loaded up and before it connected me to the map it said cd invalid

I dont understand how it can be invalid as I bought it from read the forum rules (FAQ)
and it came
fully sealed.

What should I do.

Yes got the 1.4 patch as soon as i installed BF2

So what's the exact message?

CD invalid or CD Key Invalid?

Try re-entering your CD key into the registry.

IIRC it tells you how to do it in here => http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=26653

I'm guessing this is the first time you've tried to play online as there's no record of your game/account name on any of the stat sites.

You're best off trying to enter the cd key again using the link supplied above.

Still dont get how to re enter the cd-key.

Went to BF2 folder in my document but cant find anywear to change the cd-key

I spotted that but that players listed as located in USA and our chap is from London!?!?

What so u mean it might have been because i might have accidently said I was
in the USA

If that does not help, Use battlefield2_code.exe to re-enter your CDKEY, this can be located in the support folder of where you installed battlefield 2 on your Hard-Drive.
After re-entering your CDKEY you must then reapply the latest patch in order for it to be encrypted into the registry.
