BF2 Problem...

Hey all,

hows the new server going? (http://battlefield.blighter.net)

i'm facing abit of a problem..
i just installed BF2 and when i launch it, the screen flashes black, then goes back to the desktop. is this a known error? Thanks

What kind of graphics card are you using?, if its onboard it will not work, you need something that is higher than the FX5500 card

If the port is 16567 I'll be giving it a try right about now.

If your on a tight budget blighter. I play on a radeon 9800pro at 1024X768 and it runs just fine. TBH i wouldn't look at a card lesser than that spec though. Maybe look for a 6600GT if your on an AGP bus for graphics, will definately run BF2 at that res no problems at all, and should be able to pick one up fairly cheaply also.

Scrub that: Can't play on it as it's not running on patch 1.4. Sever is running an older version of BF2.

nvm my onboard were x300 based...so were able to play it...nvm
