Just changed my video options in bf2 and used the wrong refresh rate now the game only shows sounds, any ideas how to get it back

Dont quite get you here mate! 'the game only shows sounds'????

How can something show a sound?

Best thing to do if a game or any application ever buggers up is to re-install it.

Ahh sorry got annoyed and did the post fast.

Basically i went to video options and change my screen res, but choose the wrong refresh rate. So when i load the game up my monitor goes weird and i can only hear sounds and see nothing but a black screen.

Sounds to me like you have set the resolution or refresh rate to high and your monitor cant handle it...... if it does this before you can even get into the options then I can only suggest a full re-install.... give it a try... takes 20 mins at the most.

dw fixed it, if u go my docs then battlefield 2 and then profile and edit the video file u can change ure res settings there
