BF2 RANT : Your Connection has been lost WTFNESS!!!!!???

I've been trying to play this game for the past 6 hours but the minute i join the server I get connection lost error??

This doesn't happen when I play on STEAM and it was working a few weeks ago?

Nothing has changed and yet now I am simply unable to play. I have tried 20 servers so far ARGH!!!!

It disconnects me within 2-3 mins

I am on telewest cable and theres nothing wrong with my internet/

Is there any setting which is causing this?

Never once did it bother to say punkbuster is out of date and needs updating.

Got a dual core? Tried setting the affinity of BF2.exe to a single core? Helps conection problems a ton.

if you disable ingame VOIP that should make it work

happened to me extremly annoying and took me yonks to find out the problem lol.

If that doesnt work i dunno.

I do have dual core, and i don't use VOIP so i'll disable that too

Is there a known problem with BF2 and dual core? I don't think so as it has been working fine on my pc before having to assign core affinities and faffing around like that.

No idea, I've just always had connection problems with my dual core ever since I got it and this sorted it out. But when I installed the AMD dual core drivers and optimiser I just didn't need to do it anymore.
