BF2 - selling and serial numbers

I'm in the process of selling BF2 - will there be a problem for whoever buys it with the cd serial numbers?

I haven't played it in months.

If so, is there a way to unregister the keys?

I no longer have a PC at home.

You can make an unlimited number of accounts on a single CD key, the only thing they won't be able to do is register the product (unless you haven't.)

What about the EA downloader for Euro Force?

Or does that just match up Gamespy ID's?

Special Forces just needs installing, but Euro Force is tied to Gamespy I.D.

EA Downloader uses a username/password account.

the only thing will be that if you play on that serial number it will block him from playing on any server and vise-versa. of course this wont happen because as u said, u dont have a pc now

There is a way to un-register your BF2 Serial/Registration Key on the EA website, just log in and you should be able to do it...same goes for other games like The Sims 2 etc.

He's selling the game anyway, how would he play it at all?

Thanks for the pointers folks!

Logged into the EA site but noticed the only game that was registered was Euro Force.

So, at least I know the other games aren't registered.

I have also removed any auto-billing details.

Hopefully, there shouldn't be any problems.
