bf2 sf invalid cd key issue

a few weeks ago i bought bf2 deluxe edition, i can get into online games ok on standard bf2 but when i try to join a special forces server i get invalid cd key. game is patched to 1.41 and this is a genuine retail copy. any help would be great cheers.

no it was a brand new copy purchased from an online retailer complete with cellophane wrapper

Give them a call, they might be able to get you another key/send you out another box.

Because its the deluxe edition, did it come with one or two CD keys?
If there is one each, have you tried re entering the SF one?

working fine now, i uninstalled both games then reinstalled, used the cd key exe verifier in the games support folder then patched to v1.41. all going fine now thanks for your advice guys

i rememebr hwen i bought hl2 and the key was invalid..turns out the last letter was missed printed so i had to guess >_<

very very happy gaming jester, just wish id bought bf2 when it first came out, it has saved me a fortune in beer fees(do i go and have a beer or 2 or sit and play bf2)
money saved for a new c2d rig

..nice one m8 glad your enjoying it .... I myself was late at getting into BF2 but since then have never looked back , great great game ! Oh and I go the extra mile .... have a beer and play !
