BF2 Unplayable - Disconnect on Join!

Posting this here in the hope that someone might have some advice, everytime I join a BF2 Server, the map loads, I click Join, Then I get disconnected. Sometimes I manage to stay connected to the server for up to 60secs.

I think I am being kicked for something because if you look at my stats here http://www.amr-stats.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=27 (Name= inoshishi.uk) I have been kicked 26 times, for what I have no idea, i've ran ad-aware, a-squared, AVG, so i'm pretty sure I don't have any spyware etc.

I've updated Punkbuster

Tried this on vanilla BF2 and loads of different mods.

I'm sure PB is kicking me for something, but I dont think it logs it anywhere?

Any ideas? I'm cracking up!

Nope its XP, I think I have sorted it though, when I launch the game from within modjive it seems to be kicking me, if I use the desktop shortcut i'm ok. Bit strange as i've always used Modjive without any problems in the past.

Ah well at least its working now :)

had the same problem , i disabled VOIP , updated punkbuster manually, and even set core affinity.

None of them made any difference, in the end just relogging onto the account made all the difference.

Maunaly update punkbuster with PBweb. Had same problem with 1942 and uninstalling service pack 2 and re installing it back again sorted it out.

That is ridiculous, Having to re-install service packs to play a game??

Shame its been like 2 years now and they've fixed nothing so far.

Had a similar problem with 2142, in the end it was because i had instaled it in a location other than the default :eek: . Reinstalled in default location and i was able to play online.
 
The thing is that it works sometime, but disconnects randomly without any reason
