BF2 Worth it?

Just got my new PC and am looking for a MP FPS. I played BF2 a few months ago and really enjoyed it but i have read many posts on here stating its dying.

Is it worth getting it now? If not what would you recommend (other than CSS)

Good good i will get it then.

Can pick it up pretty cheap anyway.

I have so far been playing COD2 but find the amount the grenades get chucked about ridiculous.

I Prefer the modern day games really although I was brought up on Quake so when ET:QW comes out i will probably get involved in that.

I will definatley be purchasing this week. As i said originally i really enjoyed it when i did play but was more concerned about getting into it and then not having anyone to get shot by!

I have read loads about people cheating in various games and i just cant get my head round it. It seems like such a pathetic thing to do. I remember a kid at school told me how he played Champ Man and whenever he lost a game he would shut down and reload and keep playing till he won! He was rather odd but even so! I just cant see how anyone could get any satisfaction from cheating at an online computer game.
