BF2 WS????

Hi all,

Setting my NEC 20 WS for BF2 and I have put ""C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +playNow 1 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050" in the target file box as per widescreen gaming forum but how do I know if it has worked?? As game-vidoe options still says 1024 x 768??

Anyone know?

its probly worked but it never acknowledges it ingame

you would know if it worked by how it looked. The image quality between 1650 and 1024 should be highly noticeable especially with no AA. Also...the picture will have the correct aspect ratio in widescreen and not look like 4:3 squashed to fit. BF2 to my knowledge has not released a patch to give you full widescreen field of view (ie...you see more) but it does run at widescreen resolutions OK.

It works for me using 1680x1050, but it's not "true" widescreen.

Ah ok thanks, I think its ok but just wasn't sure the text add in @ target file had actually worked for me..!!

it does work,

press your monitor info button, it shoudl tell you the res its running in. dont look at what BF2 tells u its running in

the hud gets stretched but behind that the game itself isnt, its hard to explain, looks great tho
