BF2 - Yes, its crashing.

So yeah for no reason at all my BF2 just decided it wanted to start crashing, I have no over clocks at all and this just started out of the blue, it'll get to 52%~ loading a map then decide to CTD... someone help im addicted to this carply developed game

Annoying as hell isn't it.

As bad as it sounds (and in fact, is) I'd try a full reinstall first.

it is verrrrrrry annoying, I've been playing all night, quit for a snack break.. come back an yay it doesn't work..

Delete your cache files then reboot your system then go play

Start/My Documents/BF2/mods/BF2/cache
Delete the folder/files in cache folder. BF2 will update them when you rejoin a server.

Thats the one! funny enough this is my first ever real problem with BF2 in ~250hours play. Cheers malc
