why didnt they code in a invulnuribility hack so when you respawn you dont get spawn raped.......theyd only need it for 3 seconds or so.

today i was in a server and a teamate was called RATKILLER he was a medic and he worked with the opposition so theyd lie next to me, kill me, hed med me, theyd kill me, and so on in a loop. i died 30 times or so before i knew what was going on :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
ive just gone out and bought 2142, i dont really like it but all my mates have moved onto it and i got it for 20 quid in the high street.

yeh it was an infantry only karkand server that this happened in, one of the squad members said

"how unfair doing that to the noobs :P"

and the ratkiller guy was squad aswell so it seems to be a stat padding server ? :mad:

How do you search for infantry only servers on xfire ?

all i dont like about bf2 is the fact that i keep dying for what seems to be no reason ie in karkand theres an alleyway with a metal bin in it if i sit down between the bin and the wall in the shadow, all of a sudden i get shot yet im facing forwards at the only entry i can be seen at and theres no one there.......

and...

i can unload an ak into someones chest must hit them about 20 25 times and they carry on running at me with a knife and stab me, if i shot you with an ak 5 times it would go throught your body armor surely ? about 5 of my shots end up head height but maybe they are using cheats ????


ALSO i shot a blackhawk with the chinese Anti tank launcher 4 times and it didnt effect it....
 
i think i need to play around with my config file as i see dust flying off players as i shoot them, so i change a few settings and its better however at short range it happens more, cant really win :(
 
Hmm update:

getting into bf2, but frustrated.

I dont see why i have to empty a full clip at someones chest to kill them from 4m away with an ak, yet they shoot me once in the chest and i die ?

I think i must have severe lag or something, but no way to find out.

Most of my kills are sniper kills, but even then its a >8 shots to the body to kill them from long range.

I might make a video of my gameplay so you can analyise it because if it doesnt improve im going to jack it in.
 
well bf2 had now decided it isnt going to run at all, it just displays the splash screen sits there for half an hour and tells me my install disc isnt in the cdrom (which it is) :mad: :mad: :mad:
