BF2142 After MB swap wont run

I have changed my board, now BF2142 wont run.

I get a message saying about the disk (insert disk the restart application)

disk is if fine. Click on the ok then it reboots my pc.

I have reinstalled BF2142, and patches. Still the same.

are your drives (C: D: etc) the same as before the mobo swap?

personally i would reinstall windows anyway but remember to backup your stuff!

Drives are all the same.

I should not need to reinstall windows its the same make just upgraded the model (A8N sli deluxe to A8N32 sli Deluxe)

maybe a8n32 uses different drivers?

I have reinstalled Nforce drivers Ati card drivers, Lan Drivers.

Cant think of any more drivers.

I had the same problem when i upgraded my pc, to fix it i deleted the config file then next time u boot it up it will re configure to your new hardware.

Just had another think and i think i deleted my bf folder in the my documents folder.

I had a similar problem tonight, patched it to 1.20 and it would keep saying to put the disk in, I fixed it by running it in Win95 compatability mode :confused:

I used to run it in XP SP2 compatibility and it worlked fine, really strange....
