BF2142 bug?

Hi guys, noticed that when i die sometimes in this game instead of saying "you are fatally wounded" and giving a countdown and looking up at the sky, you get shot and you are on the floor but you can look around, sometimes it feels like you are going through the ground as if clipping was off. You eventually respawn though, does anyone else get this?

oh yes...and its sometimes very handy cos you can sometimes find the enemy (when you are dead and on ountdown to spawn)...spawn in the right place and take them out

I also find that sometimes it won't let you revive a team-mate, even though they have the dead sign above their body.

1. I think most people have the bug where you can look around whilst dead.

2. I'm almost certain there is a certain time delay when you die, before which you can revive some-one however if they get near the end of their re-spawn period you can no longer revive them and their body disappears also.

(please correct me if im wrong)

ive manged to revie som1 with 1 secend to go same with me my countdown timer was at 1secend and i was revied then i got killed again and so did the guy reving me

Sometimes you Die and are unrevivable, sometimes you die and are reviveable. Depends on what killed you.

Has anyone else noticed the bug with spawning from a beacon? sometimes i just cant spawn even if the beacon is all green (as in working)?

Sometimes I can't spawn from any location even if it is healthy, usually pressing return to bring the spawn locations up and re chosing the location does it.

Dieing on the titan I find is always very bugy.

PS, what does it mean when you can't spawn on a flag because the icon has turned red?

A bit off topic, but ive played for a few months now and got to Lieutenant Colonel Silver Rank and havnt ever played titan. I dont really understand whats going on to be honest. Am i missing out on anything amazing in terms of fun and points?

And if the spawn beacon is permanently red it means its in a crap position like under a roof or something, it needs to be in open air, when it flashes red it means some one is spawning from there. Not sure on the permanent spawn points turning red.

I can be pretty fun. There are missile silos dotted around the map, treat them exactly like flags. When you capture them they will fire a missile every few minutes, this missile will impact the enemy titan. The more they hit the titan, the more they degrade the shield (The single line surrounding the icon of the titans at the top of your HUD). The more silos you control, the more damage you do. Once the shield is gone, you can board the enemy titan (either by drop ship, or by placing an APC below it and launching yourself up in a pod). From here you have to get into the cargo bay and enter one of the four corridors (only two are accessible at first) and destroy the consoles, then fight your way into the main reactor room and destroy the core (C4 is best). Alternatively you can keep control of the silos and degrade the titan hull. This takes a long time, but so can infiltrating the titan if they have decent defences.

bf2 if you fancy vehicles, ships, planes blah

bf2142 if your more an infantry grunt.

Look at it long enough and I think a little green icon appears, I do wish it was easier.

also dont put the beacon places where it cant get a signal ie sorta underneath places.

I'm always doing this by accident. Best place to put them is on roofs: places where they are hard to destroy.
