BF2142 crash to desktop..

Hi,

Just reinstalled BF2142, and i'll get like 5-10mins of game play, and then boom i'm on my desktop, no delay nothing, I've uninstalled and then reinstalled it and still thesame

I'm running latest patch on BF2142, 158.27 nVidia drivers with my 8800.

All other games run fine - CSS no crashes. Just BF2142.

I've looked about on the net and can't find anything.

as in my sig.

I can't see as that causing at as everything else is stable.

Original BF2 was notorious for being OC sensitive. Try turning it down a notch or two.

Same goes for gfx iirc.

k i'll change to stock setup and try it.

any ideas why it doesn't like OC's?

I've heard that a lot of users are having a similar (if not the same) issue as you since upgrading to the latest patch.

Afaik, there isn't a fix out yet!

No, but if it is the case then at least it's an indication of your OC not being quite as good as you thought it was.

its weird, only thing that is having problems is BF2142.

Nope, I got rid of BF2142. It's pap.
