Definitely go for it, I had loads of fun with northern strike and my buddies on vent. Speeding around on the hover bikes sniping tanks.. good times..

ooo good stuff i brought this for a fiver off of the ea store and deffo havnt regretted it, a great game, feels like a more rounded and polished bf2.

thing that bugs me is the year is 2142 and the guns have less accuarcy than bf2 doesnt make sense lol

Still looking forward to the next battlefield, especially with the rest of the FPS's on the PC (COUGH CHARLIE OSCAR DELTA COUGH) decreasing in scale.

Was never too fussed on 2142. The landscapes always seemed so bleak for some reason. Was a bigger fan of bf2.

What guns are way more accurate than bf2 or at least the hit registration, I think on the whole 2142 was better game than bf2

Possibly because it's set in a ravaged future world where a new ice age and massive war has decimated Europe? Just a guess
