BF2142 problem

Hey, its been a while since I've played battlefield 2142 and I tried to have a go the other day and it keeps saying that "the program has stopped working." Does anyone know what's up. Btw, I run vista, so its probably just that being wierd.

Has anyone else had this problem?

First thing with any BF game that is playing up is to do a reinstall.

then remember to run the game as admin all the time or punkbuster crashes it out.

Have you changed your monitor since last playing? Try it on a crt monitor if you can and/or try the anologue cable from the graphics card to the monitor. Also make sure your screen refresh rate is 60Htz.

I had same problem in vista at one point, re-installed and it worked ok

Problem is probably, because your actually playing 2142
