bf2142 problems

For some reason bf2142 frame rate is being crippled and basically acts as if it is EXTREMELY laggy when in game. (even at lowest possible settings) My ping is a steady 30 ish.

1. tried different drivers no difference

2. tried the "delete radial.cdb" trick no difference

So now i figure i'll uninstall and reinstall... But bugger me... i cant find my manual - i have the case but the serial code is on the manual and i cant install bf2142 without it.

i need bf2142 = stress therapy.

ideas? would the key be in the registry? (i guess not now since ive uninstalled it)

managed to get the key back using good ole...system restore. uninstall then reinstall and now dling 1.4 patch.

rly? i saw smt about Battlefield heroes is this Battlefield 3 then? (graphics look to be similar mould as TF2..either that or it was just the advert)
