BF2142 techincal thread

The draw distance seems to be much less than BF2 (even when both on 100% draw) BF2 looks a lot better than 2142 (more detail, much higher draw distance), is there a way of 'forcing' 2142 to a lot further draw distance?

i thought it was better then bf2 tbh, an much less fog aswell which ive always hated on maps like karkand.

Theres a way (well theres a way on BF2, so I assume it's there on 2142), but it's considered hacking by EA so you'll get hardware banned by PB.
