BF2142 Unlocks question???

Hi guys, just got a basic question im new to the BF series and decided to go with BF2142 and loving it!

Just a question about unlocks is it possible to unlock every tree with 1 character?? or do u use selected points on an induvidual style (recon, assault, etc)

Im sure its possible, but since you only get one unlock per rank promotion it would just take a long time.
