Brother has an issue!
Spec:
E8600 @ 4.3Ghz
4Gb Dominator 1066 Ram
Asus Rampage Formula (Socket 775)
Radeon HD4890 + Powercolor 4890 PCS
BF3 Settings:
No AA. Everything else on high, except textures on Med (due to no dx11)
No motion blur, no HBAO/SBAO and AF on x16
1680x1050 resolution, vsync off
So in BF3, he's getting between 30-60fps with a single card but with crossfire enabled, he's getting 2-40. This is in multiplayer on 32player servers.
His CPU usage while in crossfire is 70average (for bf3.exe) and with a single card its around 85.
In L4D2 he's getting 150+ fps with 80cpu usage and 30-40gpu in crossfire.
We've tried the latest CAP4, it just made things worse so at the moment he's using Catalyst 11.10 with no CAP4.
I would have thought the CPU would have been good enough for BF3 really! Would you guys think that was the issue, I dont understand why his FPS is worse in crossfire compared to when its not crossfired!
