BF3 5770 vs GTX280

Just upgraded to a 580 ready for BF3.

Not sure whether to pass my GTX280 down to my son whos running a HD5770

Your thoughts please

GTX 280 is better than the HD5770 only IF:

Your sons PSU can support the extra power needed.
Your son does NOT make use of DirectX11

But yes the 280 has better performance.
