BF3:Aftermath, worth a purchase?

Hi just wanted to know what you guys think of Aftermath, thinking about getting it for just under a tenner. Was really into BF3 a couple of months back but the standard maps/karkand were getting a little stale.....

Thx for the link, but i dont want to buy the full premium because i dont like CQ, already have karkand and only really want aftermath and maybe End Game when it comes out next year.

I'm nose deep in Planetside 2, but everyone I know who is into BF3 loves it.

Aftermath is exceptional, they have outdone themselves with the maps designs. I have ben playing AM since release and I still dont know which map I prefer.

Aftermath is excellent. The only slightly dubious DLC so far has been CQ - everything else has been top notch.

The maps are extremely good on rush and conquest. Scavenger mode isn't very exciting though.

Got Premium myself and have yet to venture into any of the DLC's yet, still playing the main maps and loving them! Think will have to give Aftermath a go when I get home tonight

I got the Premium thing when it was down to £19.99, and honestly didn't really enjoy Close Quarters or Armoured Kill (which is the one I was looking forward to...) all that much. Aftermath is much better than both of those. The maps are all pretty good, and there's some cool new vehicles - my favourite being the modified, wasteland-style Hummer/Vodnik with the grenade launcher. There's one particular map with lots of tall buildings that's excellent fun if you're any good at flying the scout chopper.

I'll say one thing for Aftermath, it's certainly shown off the talents of Little Bird pilots. I have seen some incredible flying in recent weeks, proper weaving and turning.

I've also seen some incredibly lame (mostly by myself trying to emulate lol) piloting too!

The maps are excellent and its brought back some BF3 love for me however it is BF3 so for me it gets boring again quite quickly

close quarters was pants and armoured kill wasn't much better, but aftermath is some of the best maps to play on.

Aftermath is the best DLC they have released so far.

If you can find Premium on offer it's still worth getting. It's often on sale for around a tenner.
