Anyone get this to work,

Im using crossfire 6970s with current drivers but game just crashes

mmm yeah gonna steer pretty clear of Win 8. MS got it pretty spot on with W7. If their track record is anything to go by, Win8 is going to be an abortion.

I will be sticking with win 7 until games force me to upgrade to a newer os. Win 7 just works great imo.

Not sure why people would want to swap to Windows 8 yet unless you're just an enthusiast? It's not even officially being used by manufacturers yet so if you want to use Win8 then you should be expecting some problems.

If fixing issues doesn't appeal to you then you should stick with Win7

100% agree, I moved from XP to Windows 7... Vista I tried to install it once as a test on a decent laptop (because this laptop needed a reinstall of Windows XP) and well the disk ended up in the bin....Says it all really. Vista was not going anywhere near my desktops after seeing it run on the laptop and other peoples desktops.

Windows 8 smells like another Windows Millenium and Vista headache for Microsoft. Well we will see once it is out and we use the final code.
