Hi guys - I've recently got back into playing BF3 (Armoured Kill is awesome ;)) and have found that I get slight artifacts
Here's a couple examples:

I get them when running at my normal OC (1200/1500), so I clocked down and tested it again, however the problem still exists

Any ideas/anyone else have this problem?

IF you have had a bad OC then you need to restart the whole system to get stock clocks 'working' fully.

Kill any OC, reboot the machine and see if it persists :)

Artifacts are usually a sign of a memory overclock which is too high. If its doing if on stock settings try a different set of drivers.

Does it do it in all games? If so return it immediately.

p.s. don't see anything wrong in screenshot 1?

Yeah It's tough to see :p
Big artifact from the chopper going through the marker for G :)
And I haven't noticed any problems in any other games.

Thats weird as i get artifacts when i clock my 7950's core anything around 1165 and above.. starts to snow and begins to look like a disco

OP which card are u using?

And yes reboot as pgi said.. i had same problem doing Heaven bench and a reboot was the only thing i could do to get rid of strange flickering jagged lines etc.

I did a reboot and am running it at stock clocks - I haven't seen any artifacts as of yet.

Does a memory clock OC even give any sort of performance benefit? If not I might just leave it at stock.

^I have a 7950 Vapor-X

Mem overclocks can give vast improvements to fps but if you are getting artifacts, that is deffo memory overclocked too much. Maybe work on your core clocks and see how that goes.

But isnt the Vapor-X volt locked? Maybe it'll clock pretty good on stock tho as i can get 1075-1100 core stable on stock. Glad i got the Dual-X now :)

Ok cheers dude :)
I'll see how an OC goes with the memory at stock :D

Problem solved I believe :p
It runs perfectly at 1200/1250 ^__^
I expected it to hit 1500Mhz on the memory easily but that doesn't seem to be the case - I tried it at 1450 also and there were artifacts again :(
I'll run it at stock memory clocks until I can be bothered squeezing a bit more out of it :p
:D

I think this is a graphical bug that sometimes occurs when using the beta drivers that ive been posting recently.

I noticed it myself the other day, it only happens when very close to a vehicle thats firing from what ive seen.
