Hey guys, iv'e recently encountered an annoying problem. About half an hour into playing BF3 the game will crash and display 2 error messages.

Firstly i get

"Your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close these programs: Battlefield 3"

And I also get a scary long one saying:

"DirectX function "device->CreateTexture2D( &texDesc,desc.subResourceCount != 0 ? reinterpret_cast<const D3D11_SUBRESOURCE_DATA*>(desc.subResourceData) : 0, & textture->m_texture2d)" failed with E_OUTOFMEMORY: Ran out of memory. GPU: "AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series", Driver 11.12 (8.92-111109a-129966C-ATI). Free virtual memory: 1461860kB / 4294176kB. TOtal resource memory: 0kB. Make sure you have a supported graphics card with atleast 512 MB"

It's a bit of a puzzler considering I've got brand new Sapphire 6950 2gb which isn't even a month old.

When I searched for E_OUTOFMEMORY BF3 I tryed a few things out like clearing Origins download cache etc but none of it worked.

I'm pritty sure I've got the latest drivers and I havent OC'd the card. Rest of my system specs are:

AMD Phenon II x6 1090T @ 3.55 ghz
6gb DDR3
Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah I just realised I did to free up space on my SSD. But as you say I shouldn't realy be having this problem with a 2gb 6850...Hmmm

Yes, I set it to 0 on my SSD. Now you have said it like that It makes me feel like I have done something drastically wrong here.

Ah right cheers!

Probably a silly question and I think I know what the answer is but just incase...

Windows is on my SSD (C: Drive) but BF3 is on my D: Drive. Can I just increase the page file size on my D: drive or does it need to be increased on my C: drive because thats what windows is on?
