BF3 Crashing during gameplay

I can play for about 10-15 minutes then it will randomly crash while playing online (Windows saying BF3 has stopped working). All settings on full, GPU stock clocks max temp 48C. CPU@ 4.5 max temp 66C. Happens also in Max Payne 3 sometimes too. All other games have been fine.

Any ideas?

Tried 12.11 beta and back on 12.10 same thing.

It says that the fault module is atidxx32.dll or something. That is drivers? I will try find something.

Think it has something to do with atidxx32.dll being out of date.

Try with one or two clicks more CPU offset, even if your rock solid stable I've found amd drivers to crap out while gaming, same as ccc not loading on startup

Games would just crash to desktop no hard lock ups

I was considering that, I will give it a go and let you know how it turns out. So far I've uninstalled AMD drivers, atidxx32.dll wasn't deleted during uninstall, so I've deleted it manually and after installing drivers again it is back and hopefully not at fault.

Off to snipe some russians but if it crashes the offset goes up!

Thanks I will try that, just played for about 30 min and then finally crashed. Will try exiting afterburner, would make sense because I recently updated that.

yeah seems strange issue on these boards, you can be stable in ibt/prime yet games fail unless you up the cpu v one or two notches

I had a similar problem with my 6850 crossfire setup randomly crashing BF3. You could play 10mins,30mins sometimes an hour before I would get a BSOD. I tried loads of different drivers. Removing software Afterburner, Fraps, Tuneup Utilities but to no avail.
My I7 is a 2500k running @4.7g it will pass prime etc all day long. The week before Christmas I dropped the overclock to 4.6 and guess what BF3 hasn't crashed once.
So maybe your problem isn't with your GFX card it may be elsewhere. Maybe just worth looking in another area.
